SAULT STE. MARIE, MI-- A Chippewa County man has been charged with multiple counts of child pornography.
A lengthy investigation led sheriff’s deputies to arrest Robert Henning, 66, of Drummond Island last week.
They executed a search warrant this summer at Henning’s residence and seized computers and several hard drives. Officials say they found thousands of child pornographic images and videos on the equipment.
Henning is charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography and 10 counts of using a computer to commit a crime. After deputies discovered a grow operation, Henning is also charged with manufacturing marijuana.
The case remains under investigation.
