MARQUETTE, MI-- The Department of Natural Resources is hosting a public meeting later this month to discuss the potential development of a new state shooting range in Marquette County.
DNR staff will share a list of possible range sites, take public comment related to the sites, and listen to ideas about other potential sites.
DNR officials say the meeting is one of the first steps in a process that could take several years to complete.
The meeting will be held Sunday, January 29 at 5 p.m. at the Sands Township Hall.
