Delta County Sheriff's Office phone system down

ESCANABA, MI--   Phone lines at the Delta County Sheriff’s Office are down, thanks to flooding from a ruptured pipe.

Heavy rains overwhelmed the building’s 50-year-old infrastructure on Monday, creating several leaks and flooding in the basement.

Only the Sheriff’s Office’s internal phone system is affected. Residents can still contact 911 for emergency services.  All non-emergency calls can be directed to Central Dispatch at 786-5911.
