ESCANABA, MI-- A date has been set for the recount of the Bay College Board of Trustees race in Delta County.
Thomas England filed the petition of recount. He lost by 12 votes in the November 8 election.
County Clerk Nancy Kolich says the recount will take place Tuesday, December 20 at 9 a.m. at Escanaba City Hall Council Chambers. The county-wide recount involves 27 precincts. Kolich says she expects it to take about five hours to complete.
The state Board of Canvassers will make its determination after all precincts have been counted.
