MARQUETTE, MI-- The Marquette Chamber of Commerce has made the selections for its first-ever Creative Residency.
The three-month program lets creative people from outside Michigan live in Marquette and share their experience with those back home and around the country. It’s designed to enhance Marquette’s national image as a place to live and work for people within the creative industries.
This year’s creative residents are Megan Alpert, a journalist and poet from Washington, D.C.; Matthew Conboy, a photographer from Pittsburgh; and Breesa Culver, a consultant and story teller from Portland, Oregon.
The residency period runs from March through May.
