Creative residency offered to out-of-state artists

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Marquette Chamber of Commerce is looking for three creative people from outside of Michigan to live in the city for three months.

The Marquette Creative Residency will house those who love artistic endeavors in a shared living space near McCarty’s Cove. The chosen residents will conduct projects ranging from digital technology to architecture, film, music, and fashion.

Chamber Director Jason Schneider says applications will be accepted from veteran artists to those just beginning and anyone in-between.

The residency takes place March 1 through May 31 of this year. The application deadline is midnight on February 2.
