FORD RIVER TOWNSHIP, MI-- M-35 in Delta County was closed for a while Friday morning after a power line fell across the road in Ford River Township.
Sheriff’s deputies say around 5:40 a.m. a vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole. The pole broke, tumbling lines and causing M-35 to shut down for about an hour.
The driver sustained minor injuries. He was arrested on narcotics charges and lodged in the Delta County Jail. His name is not being released, pending arraignment.
