HOUGHTON, MI-- Houghton Police have captured a man who led them on a high-speed chase last week.
Travis Kuopus, 26, was arrested at a Laurium residence Monday around 3:45 p.m.
Kuopus was allegedly involved in a domestic incident in the Houghton Wal-Mart Friday. As he fled the parking lot his truck apparently hit another vehicle.
Kuopus then led police on a chase that reached speeds of 90 miles per hour up to Dollar Bay, where police quit the chase for safety’s sake.
Kuopus remains lodged in the Houghton County Jail.
