Clickner named to committee on global economic council

MARQUETTE, MI--   The CEO of the Lake Superior Community Partnership in Marquette has been named a committee chair for the International Economic Development Council. 

The IEDC is a national and global non-profit membership organization serving economic developers.

Amy Clickner has been appointed Chair of the Performance Oversight and Monitoring Committee. It’s responsible for designing program and financial reports for IEDC Board review. It also monitors the performance of all programs and administrative units.

As POM Chair Clickner will also serve on the seven-person Governance Committee of the IEDC.

The IEDC serves more than 4,600 members and represents the largest network of economic development professionals in the world. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
