HOUGHTON, MI-- A man wanted by Houghton Police in connection with a domestic incident and subsequent chase has been charged in district court.
Travis Kuopus, 27, had eluded police over the weekend but was discovered Monday afternoon at a residence in Laurium.
Kuopus is charged with aggravated stalking, fleeing a police officer, and two counts of resisting and obstructing a police officer. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 6.
Kuopus remains lodged in the Houghton County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
