Houghton, MI - Printed circuit board engineering company Calumet Electronics is opening a new off-site advanced technology center in Houghton.
The center, located next to Michigan Technological University, will serve multiple industries, including aerospace, medical, power, defense, and industrial control markets… and is able to accommodate classified projects that require rigid security protocols.
Calumet Electronics will collaborate with the Michigan Tech to attract talent and formalize co-op programs that will educate the students about the PCB industry.
Tech alumnus Michael Van Rite is the center’s program manager and operations engineer.
