MARQUETTE, MI-- Students competing in Northern Michigan University’s Business Venture Competition will give presentations on their creative ideas this week.
The Big Pitch is a Shark Tank-style activity that features four teams pitching their business ideas to a panel of judges. They’ll have five minutes to present their plans and five minutes to answer questions.
The teams are competing for cash and consulting packages to pursue their plans. The finalists also participate in a trade fair, where they display informational materials and product prototypes.
The Big Pitch will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Forest Roberts Theater. For more information, go to universe.com/nmubigpitch.
