Bomb threat made in Marquette Township

MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, MI--   State Police from the Negaunee Post are investigating a bomb threat made at a Marquette Township hotel.  

Troopers were dispatched to the Days Inn Sunday around 1:12 a.m.  A subject had called in a bomb threat and had also pulled the fire alarm, prompting the evacuation of the entire hotel.  No bombs or fire were discovered. 

Police say a male subject was taken into protective custody and transported to Marquette General Hospital for evaluation.  His name is not being released at this time. 

Marquette City Police assisted at the scene.
