Be a part of the BOW program in June

BIG BAY, MI--   Registration is open for the Becoming an Outdoors Woman summer program.

The BOW is set for June 1-3 at Bay Cliff Health Camp near Big Bay. Sponsored by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, the program offers instruction in more than 24 different types of activities. They include kayaking, wilderness survival, lake and fly fishing, shooting sports, and geocaching.

Participants will be housed in a dorm-style facilities with access to a sauna, pool, tennis courts, and hiking and biking trails.

The deadline for registration is May 11. A limited number of scholarships are available.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
