MARQUETTE, MI-- The Northern Michigan University bookstore is going through some big changes.
The store is transitioning to a Barnes & Noble, to be managed by Barnes & Noble College. The company operates 748 campus stores nationwide.
NMU officials say the new bookstore will offer an in-store and online rental textbook program and a large selection of used, new, and digital textbooks. It will also provide faculty with a streamlined textbook adoption platform.
The Barnes & Noble plans to have an expanded selection of Wildcats logo apparel and offer snacks, gifts, and school supplies.
The last day of operation for the current NMU bookstore is Thursday. The new Barnes & Noble is expected to open for business Monday, June 20th.
