WELLS TOWNSHIP, MI-- An ATV caught fire on property in Wells Township Monday.
Escanaba Public Safety officers responded around 10:30 p.m. to 4066 18th Road on a report of a barn fire. They later discovered the source of the flames was an ATV parked only feet from the barn.
The homeowner was able to use a pickup truck and plow to push the ATV and trailer away from the barn. Officers were able to extinguish the fire without any additional property damage.
No injuries were reported.
The Delta County Sheriff’s Office and Michigan State Police assisted at the scene.
