MARQUETTE, MI-- Three suspects have been arrested for armed robbery in the City of Marquette.
Police say Wednesday around 8:37 p.m. they were dispatched to 919 W. Fair Avenue on a report that a black male wearing a hoodie and ski mask and carrying a handgun had tried to enter the residence. The subject had gained partial entry, but backed out as the door was closed. The man then fled the area.
Investigation and witness reports helped officers locate the subject and two other suspects believed to be involved. All three were arrested on armed robbery charges.
A search warrant uncovered evidence of the robbery, including a loaded firearm, hoodies, and a ski mask.
Police say there is a medical marijuana grow at the residence. They say it’s the second armed robbery within the City of Marquette on medical marijuana operations.
Marquette Police were assisted by the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office, NMU Public Safety, and the Ishpeming Police Department.
