MARQUETTE, MI-- Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette is visiting the Marquette area Monday.
The Republican recently announced his candidacy for governor. He spent the weekend on Mackinac Island at the GOP’s biennial leadership conference and stopped in Sault Ste. Marie Sunday.
Schuette is due to arrive at Sawyer International Airport at 9:30 a.m., where he’ll meet with supporters. At 10 a.m. he’ll tour Superior Extrusion, Inc. next to the airport. At noon Schuette will participate in a roundtable with business and community leaders at the Staybridge Suites. He says he wants to hear about their concerns, thoughts, and what they need for success.
The Attorney General is set to head to Iron Mountain later Monday.
