AAA Michigan: Gas prices up 6 cents in past week to $2.94

DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) — Triple A Michigan says gas prices statewide have gone up by about 6 cents in the past week.
The Dearborn-based auto club says the average price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline was about $2.94 per gallon on Sunday. That's about 85 cents less than at the same time last year.
AAA Michigan surveys daily fuel prices at 2,800 gas stations across the state. The lowest average price was about $2.74 per gallon in the Marquette area, while the highest average was about $2.99 a gallon in the Ann Arbor area.
