Houghton County, MI - A Toivola man is dead following an accident with a 4-wheeler.
Houghton County Sheriff’s deputies say the accident happened this morning at about 10am on Misery Bay Road just west of Agate Beach Road.
Deputies say it appears the 4-wheeler failed to negotiate a corner on Misery Bar Road and rolled over into the ditch.
The driver, 49-year old Jon Francis Virtanen, was found dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation. Adams Township First Responders and Mercy Ambulance assisted at the scene.
