ESCANABA, MI— Police are investigating a car fire in Escanaba.
Tuesday at 11:57 p.m., the Escanaba Department of Public Safety was dispatched to the 800 block of South 12th Street. They found the vehicle fully engulfed, and flames were starting to ignite a nearby tree.
Officers quickly extinguished the fire and ensured no further damage to surrounding property.
The fire remains under investigation.
