Event Description

Retired McGill University Professor, Roger Magnuson will teach a six-week course entitled “British and American Men and Women in the French Resistance in World War II” in the Peter White Public Library’s Lions Room beginning on Thursday, April 19 at 6:30 pm. Professor Magnuson holds a Ph.D. in History and Philosophy of Education from the University of Michigan. Now retired, he was a Professor of Education, McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, where he taught for more than thirty years. Professor Magnuson is the author of four books on Quebec educational history and has been teaching classes at Peter White Public Library since 2007 at no charge. The class meets weekly on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00 pm and runs through May 24. The class is open to the public at no charge and no registration is required.
